Full Remote Training Video

We are also offering remote training as an option.

This video contains background information on Abbee Ltd, as well as how the robots are beneficial to cleaning staff and clients and how to use them. This includes deployment, charging, how to get the best of them and routine maintenance. We also cover how to get support and our future developments.

1. Setting Off Abbee

Abbee is incredibly simple to use.  Here we show you how to get her started …

2. Dust Box Management
During Abbee’s first few weeks of operation, you’ll notice the dust box requires frequent emptying. This is a positive sign—Abbee’s superior cleaning power captures significantly more dirt and debris than standard vacuums previously used in your facility. As Abbee maintains consistently high cleaning standards, the frequency of emptying will naturally decrease over time.
Abbee operates without vacuum bags, making maintenance straightforward: simply remove the dust box, empty the contents, and replace it.

3. Roller Brush Maintenance
Regular roller brush maintenance is essential to ensure Abbee continues delivering exceptional cleaning results. This simple procedure takes just minutes and makes a significant difference in her performance. Follow the steps below to keep your Abbee operating at the highest standard…

4. Side Brush Replacement
Abbee’s side brushes are engineered for durability and long-lasting performance. In the rare instance they require replacement, the process is straightforward; they simply pop off and on. Note that each brush is side-specific (left and right), so correct placement is important. Below, we’ll guide you through the process…

5. Stuck Lid
If Abbee’s lid becomes stuck in the open position, this is typically caused by lifting the unit incorrectly by the lid. Due to Abbee’s weight, the unit should always be lifted from the base, never by the lid itself.
Fortunately, this issue is easy to resolve with just a small Phillips screwdriver. Here’s how to fix it…

6. Constant Reversing / Confused Robot

If Abbee is repeatedly backing away during operation, this issue can be easily resolved. Follow the steps in the video below to fix it yourself.

7. Troubleshooting Error Codes

On rare occasions, Abbee may encounter an issue. The good news? Abbee’s built-in diagnostics will alert you to the problem. In most cases, a simple power cycle (turning Abbee off and on) will resolve the issue. If the problem persists, the video below explains the most common error codes and how to address them.

8. Wheel Overload or Malfunction

Occasionally, Abbee may experience a wheel overload or malfunction, which can affect her mobility and movement. This issue is straightforward to resolve—watch the video below for step-by-step instructions on how to fix it.

9. Changing Your Battery Pack

This video explains how to safely remove and reinsert a new battery pack into Abbee (the robotic commercial vacuum).

10. Changing Modes

Abbee has several different modes. The default ‘random’ setting is by far the most popular but if you have specific requirements you may wish to change the mode – such as to ‘edge’ mode.

11. Removing Stuck Items

As with any vacuum, Abbee can occasionally pick up larger items, that they aren’t meant to. These can be easily removed by taking out the roller brush enclosure.

12. Stopping Abbee

There are two simple ways to stop Abbee during operation: press the ‘Clean’ button on the unit, or lift Abbee to automatically pause vacuuming.
